The Masculine Journey

Dangerous Heart is a small ministry devoted to a big message.

That message is the treasure of the Christian Gospel--not the tired story of church attendance and good manners, but rather the love story of all ages, set in the midst of fierce battle. As Jesus said, "The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10). After all, it is life we are after, each one of us. And it is life God offers.

But this message has been lost and shrouded by religion. We are committed to helping others rediscover its beauty and power. For this message is able to set men and women free to live from the heart as God's intimate allies. As St. Irenaeus said, "The glory of God is man fully alive." That's what we are devoted to--seeing men and women come fully alive as the image-bearers of a breathtaking God.

We are based out of the Triad region of North Carolina and our primary mission is to offer the message through , our conferences, retreats, small group support and mentoring . We also want to encourage you to check out all the resources that Ransomed Heart has to offer on their website. 

There is something fierce, passionate and wild in the heart of every man...placed there by God Himself, because we bear His image. According to John Eldredge, in his book Wild At Heart, “the reason most men live lives of quiet desperation is because men have been told the reason God put them on earth is to be a good boy. To be nice."

There is more in God’s heart for men than simply to be ‘nice’. Men are designed to be dangerous - dangerous for good. There is wildness in the heart of man and it was placed there by God.  We want to be the hero. We want to save the day. We want to live the adventure, to take the risks and to dare the unthinkable. We want to know that we have what it takes to come through for others when we are needed.  We want to make sure that our lives count for something, and someone.

Dangerous Heart wants to live beside you on a guided expedition into the revolution and release of a man's heart…your heart.

Is there more to life? Yes, but as John says, "your going to have to fight for it because it is opposed".   Can you do it alone? Not a chance.    We need a band of brothers that will fight for us, pray for us and cry with us.  With our band of brothers, and sisters quite frankly, we are learning what it means to recover our heart and to fight for the hearts of others.  Would you join us?

There are many involved in the logistics of the Boot Camps as well as our team of intercessors from literally all over the world. 

The last thing we want you to think is that we are somehow qualified because we have it all together or because of our personal accomplishments, after all most people don't list their failures. We have all suffered many wounds and personal failures but God is always redeeming those.  We are only qualified because God has ransomed us to live in our glory and it is our prayer that He will use us to help you live in yours.

We are teachers, authors, media professionals, IT guys, pastors, former pastors, medical professionals,  seminary students, mental health professionals, business men and women.  But more than all that we are a redemptive community of people seeking to take a stand against the enemy in our little corner of the Kingdom while providing encouragement for others we come across on the journey.

We are all on a journey...

We are a group of men and women who have been seeking, discovering and being changed by God's message of freedom.  We have been ransomed at a cost and for a purpose. 

We are a group of people from various  backgrounds, churches and walks of life seeking to live in a redemptive community where God can continue to heal our wounds, show us His glory and let us run free in the path of His commands.

Our desire is  to help others experience this same freedom and literally chase the desires of your heart.
